Once you see these for what they are—just thoughts—they lose their power to dictate your physical health. The Power of Positive Self-Talk Remember that Bruce Lee quote I shared recently? Your body doesn't know the difference between a joke and a decree. When you tell yourself, "I’m so tired," or "My body is failing me," your brain sends signals to your nervous system to stay in a state of defense. The Shift: Try catching yourself in a negative loop and swapping "I am" for "I am learning." Instead of: "I'm so unhealthy." Try: "I am learning how to support my body one step at a time." Today, we cover the final four. As you read through these, ask yourself if you are holding onto any of these "life-sucking" emotions. Remember: Awareness is the first step.
